You need a professional in your corner when making such a big investment, and I have the training, skills and care to guide you through the buying process. Your best interests are my best interests. In other words, my business and brand only succeeds when you succeed.
How many houses will you show me?
As many as it takes! Of course, we can always hope the first one is the last one, but I'm here to ensure you find the right one.
Do I need lender pre-approval?
YES please. This process can take as little as a few days or even a few weeks. You want to ready to pounce on the house you want, knowing that you have the lender ready to go.
What is Buyer Agency Exclusive Agreement?
It's an agreement that does several things but two important points: 1) It protects your interest. For example, if there is a house you like, and we have entered into this agreement, I am obligated to only show this house to you and NOT any other client of mine. 2) It protects my interest, too! Signing onto one of these agreements offers greater protection that I am fairly compensated after providing my expertise and time. NOTE: These agreements are not mandatory, but at some point in our relationship I would introduce one and explain in further detail what these agreements are all about.
Can I buy if I am not a Canadian citizen?
With some exceptions, there is currently a ban in effect until January 2027 on foreign buyers. Canadian citizens are permanent residents are eligible to purchase real estate in Canada at this time. Also, some rural properties can be exempt. Speaking with a real estate lawyer is the first professional to speak with if you are not a Canadian citizen or permanent resident and wish to purchase real estate.
